FLSA: Exempt .83 FTE (40 hours per week during the school year with summers off based on school schedule)
Supervisor: Clinical Director or Clinical Manager
Pay Grade: B11 Clinical Supervisor I (54,365 - 81,589 Annual Salary depending on experience and education); B13 Clinical Supervisor II (65,238 - 99,185 Annual Salary depending on experience and licensure)

The Clinical Supervisor - School-Based Lead
, under the supervision of the Clinical Director, is responsible for the day-to-day oversight of assigned school-based counselors and school-based supervisor(s). The Clinical Supervisor - School-Based Lead plans, assigns, directs, and reviews the clinical work of school-based counselors and school-based supervisor(s). They ensure that the relevant Oregon Administrative Rules (OARs) are adhered to, that contractual obligations are met, that reports are completed, monitor quality assurance, and develop and monitor treatment protocols.
The Clinical Supervisor II also formally reviews and signs off on assessments and treatment plans developed by clinicians.
Supervision Received: Depending upon location, this position is supervised by the Clinical Director or Clinical Manager.
Supervision Exercised: This position directly supervises all assigned school-based counselors and school-based supervisor(s).
Responsibilities- Provide clinical supervision and oversight on a daily and regular basis to assigned clinicians. Ensure care is of the highest clinical standards and consistent with CCS philosophy and policy.
- Ensure clinicians are apprised of current evidence-based practices, implement EBP, and ensure the agency meets or exceeds standards of good clinical outcomes.
- Ensure that all paperwork by the school-based staff is completed professionally and in a timely manner, and provide supervision when this goal is not met.
- Ensure quality of clinical work is superior and completed professionally, and provide supervision when this goal is not met.
- Provide after-hours emergency services on a 24-hour, rotating basis to adults and children, including telephone consultation and crisis intervention in the community. May participate in the backup on-call supervisory rotation on a 24-hour basis.
- Ensure knowledge and application of CCS personnel policies and procedures.
- Recruit, hire, and train new staff. Provide supervision and conduct performance evaluations. Follow policies for employee discipline and termination when necessary. Resolve conflicts and provide positive leadership.
- Engage in disciplinary actions in consultation with Clinical Director and/or the Executive Director when necessary.
- Report all cases of abuse or neglect as required; provide follow-up and complete investigative reports; implement safety plans. Become a Protective Service Investigator if applicable.
- Initiate holds, conduct civil commitment investigations, and coordinate with hospitals, case workers, state, and other entities in the civil commitment process.
- Provide utilization management for adults and children needing higher levels of care.
- Schedule and participate in meetings with other agencies to ensure continuity of service delivery and strengthen CCS’s relationships with community partners.
- This position will maintain a caseload and provide quality individual, group, and family counseling services with professional paperwork.
- Follow the grievance process for customer complaints and work to resolve them.
- Ensure compliance with relevant OARs and contractual requirements (GOBHI, schools, and others).
- Schedule clients in a timely manner and oversee clinical staff coverage during vacations, sick leave, and training.
- Coordinate with contracted prescribers to schedule and coordinate medical treatment; ensure service delivery is well coordinated.
