Senior Affordable Portfolio Manager
Commercial and Residential Management Group (CRMG) is seeking an experienced Senior Affordable Portfolio Manager to provide strategic leadership in asset and property management, compliance, and client relations within the affordable housing sector.
Responsibilities- Assume full accountability for the performance and operational excellence of a diverse portfolio, including the New Columbia Apartments (LIHTC, PBV, RAD units) with a staff of 14+ members.
- Drive profitability and optimize occupancy across all properties.
- Ensure full compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
- Deliver exceptional resident experiences and maintain high satisfaction levels.
- Serve as the primary liaison for ownership groups, providing strategic insights, performance reporting, and partnership management.
- Mentor and develop emerging portfolio managers within the organization.
- Minimum 5+ years of progressive experience in affordable housing portfolio management (HUD and LIHTC), including supervisory and portfolio-level responsibilities.
- Previous experience in a fee‑based management position is highly preferred.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, self‑motivation, and confidence to establish strong professional relationships.
- Highly developed communication skills and ability to work with people from diverse backgrounds.
- Subject matter expert in Landlord/Tenant law in Oregon and Washington, including Fair Housing laws, and advanced knowledge of state and federal labor laws and safety protocols.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to provide high‑quality financial and accounting reports and analytics.
- Enthusiasm to learn new software and technology;
Yardi experience is a plus. - Reliable transportation to travel between properties, with a current driver’s license, a clean driving record, and auto insurance.

Annual Salary: $95,000 – $110,000 (DOE)

Additional Compensation: $75.00 monthly cell phone stipend and mileage reimbursement
