Job OverviewAWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. We support all AWS data centers and the servers, storage, networking, power, and cooling equipment that keep the cloud running. Key Job Responsibilities- Deeply involved in the design of the onboarding and learning systems. Manage complex onboarding initiatives, deliver critical solutions, drive significant improvements, and deploy new mechanisms.
- Closely partner with all teams within physical infrastructure to
1) stay aligned with process changes and operational updates and
2) coordinate the execution of onboarding activities. - Define, organize, and manage the scheduling, logistics, and administration of locally and globally planned virtual and in‑person instructor‑led orientation and onboarding activities across multiple cross‑functional teams, including coordinating volunteer instructors’ schedules.
- Develop and monitor internal metrics, goals, and key performance indicators to drive continuous improvements to the development and implementation of the end‑to‑end orientation process.
- Have a basic understanding of Amazon’s PXT (human resources) systems and processes and lead basic PXT onboarding for new hires.
- Manage frequent, localized communications touch points with new builders, using emails, FAQs, messaging channels, forums, office hours, tickets, or similar mechanisms.
- Facilitate employee account creation through collaboration with multiple essential teams to ensure a seamless customer experience upon arrival, including acquiring access levels and ensuring delay‑free badge creation.
- Play a crucial role in new hire onboarding, assisting new hires in setting up laptops, ensuring the installation of essential software, and providing hands‑on guidance for configuring communication tools. Additionally, deliver a comprehensive overview of the organization to facilitate a seamless transition for new hires into their daily operations.

Basic Qualifications- 2+ years of program or project management experience
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience
- Experience facilitating in group settings with an audience of 50+
- Experience working with technical and product stakeholders to define requirements, prioritize features, and influence product roadmaps
- Consistently delivers results through effective decision‑making, taking ownership, and leadership in collaborative environments, without relying on formal authority
- Experience with instruction management specifically and Learning and Development generally
- Ability to thrive in a high‑energy environment where strategic and tactical activities are expected to be driven in parallel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, experience working with internationally distributed teams, and demonstrated ability to communicate and influence people, teams, and organizations across a variety of media

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $50,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $107,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
Depending on the position offered, equity, sign‑on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
