Business Process Analyst – Finance Transformation
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Business Process Analyst to represent the Finance function across enterprise projects and initiatives. The role requires strong partnership with business stakeholders and Digital Technology teams to translate requirements and design, test, and implement system solutions.
How You’ll Make a Difference- Lead minor projects within Finance functional areas and provide project support.
- Advocate for business requirements and influence stakeholders across Finance and Accounting functions.
- Gather information, controls, and risks through cross‑functional interview sessions.
- Present and validate proposed solutions and process changes with functional managers.
- Perform gap analysis to evaluate scope and impact of current and future models.
- Collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure solutions comply with overall architecture.
- Drive cross‑functional teams to develop, test, and implement functional and technical solutions, accountable for testing activities.
- Engage with end users to perform continuous reviews and align processes with changing business conditions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience as a business process analyst or relevant business experience.
- Finance or accounting related experience preferred, with demonstrated knowledge of accounting principles.
- Applied experience in ERP project implementation (including testing, cutover, validation, and production support) desired. Working knowledge of SAP, D365, Shopify, PLM systems, TM1, or similar is a plus.
- Organized with impeccable time management and presentation skills.
- Capable of navigating ambiguity and change.
- Collaborative and exercising leadership to work toward agreements with cross‑functional business areas.
- Detail‑oriented, validating converted data, information, and processes.
- Comfortable working with IT teams as solutions are developed.
Contract position based out of Portland, OR.
Pay and BenefitsPay range: $48.00–$48.00 per hour.
