Overview

We’re partnering with a technology-driven precision manufacturer to hire a Lead Intranet Developer to own, deliver, and modernize a suite of custom, web-based, database-driven tools that power day-to-day operations on the factory floor and in the office.

You’ll take projects from concept to production, mentor a capable mid-level developer, and collaborate closely with operations and infrastructure stakeholders. Expect a mix of hands-on coding and technical leadership.

• Own the intranet roadmap:
  Translate business needs into scoped projects, deliver working software, and drive continuous improvement.
• Lead & mentor:
  Guide a mid-level developer; set coding standards, code review practices, and delivery cadence.
• Ship features end-to-end: ASP.NET/ services and pages, T-SQL (stored procedures, views, schema design), and client-side enhancements.
• Tame complex data:
  Integrate across multiple internal/third-party systems; build reliable pipelines and performant queries.
• Partner with Ops/IT:
  Align with infrastructure on databases, servers, and security while delivering real-time, high-quality information to the shop floor.

• ASP.NET &  (substantial legacy codebase; ability to deliver without relying on full debugging/breakpoints at times).
• T-SQL / SQL Server (2008+):
  Stored procedures, views, indexing, and table design.
• Proven ability to ship in ad-hoc, fast-paced environments and handle complex data from multiple sources.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and a track record of taking projects from concept to production.
