What We Need

The Regional Sales Account Manager is responsible for equipment, supplies, and service sales for Automated Identification and Data Capture (ADIC) solutions within the US Northwest Region across a variety of markets and industries. Actively promote AB&R’s AIDC equipment, supplies, and services offerings to customers and grow business within the established territory. The most successful candidate will possess the ability to analyze customer requirements and promote company products to meet those requirements.

Advise customers on product applications, proposed application solutions, and new product introductions.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain business with existing accounts, as well as, generate new business in existing accounts and with prospective customers in the Pacific Northwest Region.
  • Develop and maintain professional relationships with corporate-level information technology, operations, manufacturing, and production personnel as well as those in purchasing.
  • Create AIDC opportunities within industries such as manufacturing, wholesale distribution, transportation & logistics industries, utilities, and oil & gas to increase sales pipeline.
  • Close new business and continue buying to reach or exceed all sales/quota goals.
  • Maintain excellent working relationships with strategic territory representatives.
  • Document all selling activities in the ERP, including contacts, quotes and opportunities, and accurate forecasts.
  • Prepare custom proposals for transactional business that improves the customers identified problems, issues, or needs including estimated delivery and installation schedules.
  • Coordinate customer training, and pre/post-sales services when applicable.
  • Investigate and resolve customer equipment, supplies and service issues.
What You’ll Need
  • In lieu of education, three (3) or more years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to travel overnight up to 50% of the month in regional territory.
  • Must have a valid driver's license.
  • Sellers Mindset – ability to deeply understand customer challenges, position solutions that create measurable value, and consistently seek new opportunities to grow relationships and revenue.
  • Technical Agility – ability to rapidly adapt, innovate, and deliver value by leveraging modern technologies, practices, and skills in response to changing business and customer needs.
  • Demonstrated ability to leverage and optimize CRM (Salesforce) and ERP (SAP and Net Suite) systems to drive efficiency and support business operations.
