Job Summary:
Manages daily operations for all back office clinical and related business functions for a department within a medical clinic. The RN Clinic Manager is responsible for clinical teams, working closely with providers and managers to ensure quality care, service, access, resource utilization, and workplace safety. The role includes supervision, budget management, quality assurance, and clinical competency oversight, with potential direct patient care to maintain clinical expertise.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Model principles defined by Care Experience Standards, KP Mission, and organizational initiatives.
  • Ensure operational and performance standards are met; develop and evaluate department strategies and policies; establish relationships with stakeholders; meet service level agreements; analyze success metrics.
  • Supervise front-line staff and oversee affiliated clinicians; handle staffing, evaluations, coaching, and staff development.
  • Manage daily operations to meet strategic objectives; translate business plans into action; ensure policy compliance; delegate tasks; measure progress; address improvement opportunities.
  • Manage department budget, monitor expenditures, and contribute to planning.
  • Serve as primary health plan partner for physician leaders.
  • Collaborate on process improvements; address patient concerns; act as patient advocate.
  • Lead or participate in projects and committees; manage stakeholder relationships; develop project plans and manage resources and financials.
  • Build relationships with community partners and organizations.
  • For RN license:
    Provide clinical leadership, oversee nursing staff, ensure standards of care, and maintain clinical quality and safety standards.
