Position OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and operationally savvy HR Business Partner to support our Sales and Back Office functions. This role will be the primary HR liaison for these critical business units, offering strategic guidance, operational support, and HR expertise to drive business performance and employee engagement. The HR Business Partner will work closely with Sales and Back Office leadership to align people’s strategies with business objectives, manage employee relations, develop talent, and ensure compliance.
This position reports to the VP of Human Resources and collaborates with cross‑functional HR team members.
- Serve as the primary HR strategic partner for Sales and Back Office leadership teams
- Develop a deep understanding of business challenges, goals, and metrics for assigned departments
- Partner with department leaders to identify people‑related barriers to business success and develop HR solutions
- Provide counsel to leaders on organizational effectiveness, talent management, and workforce planning
- Translate business needs into HR initiatives that drive performance and engagement
- Lead recruitment and hiring efforts for Sales and Back Office positions, working with hiring managers to define role requirements and identify top talent
- Support onboarding and integration of new employees to ensure smooth transitions and early success
- Develop and implement talent development programs, coaching, and training tailored to Sales and Back Office needs
- Design and facilitate leadership development initiatives for frontline and mid‑level managers
- Support succession planning and internal mobility opportunities within assigned departments
- Create individual development plans and career pathways that support employee growth and retention
- Support managers in implementing effective performance management processes and holding accountability conversations
- Provide guidance and coaching to leaders on managing performance issues and difficult employee situations
- Lead employee relations initiatives, including conflict resolution, disciplinary matters, and separations
- Ensure consistent, fair application of HR policies and procedures
- Serve as an escalation point for complex employee relations issues
- Proactively identify and address workplace culture and morale concerns
- Partner with leadership to ensure competitive compensation structures for Sales and Back Office roles
- Support commission and incentive plan design and administration for sales roles
- Communicate benefits and wellness programs to drive employee engagement and utilization
- Address employee questions regarding compensation, benefits, and work‑life balance support
- Ensure compliance with employment laws and HR policies within assigned departments
- Monitor and support adherence to sales policies, codes of conduct, and ethical standards
- Manage documentation and maintain accurate employee records
- Identify and mitigate people‑related risks and liabilities
- Support investigations as needed and ensure confidentiality
- Track key HR metrics for assigned departments (turnover, engagement, hiring cycle time, productivity)
- Use data to identify trends, opportunities for improvement, and business impacts
- Provide regular reporting and insights to department leadership
- Support workforce planning and forecasting activities
