Shift: Details to be confirmed (typically 12-hour shifts)
Float: Between L&D and Med Surg units as needed
We’re seeking an adaptable and experienced RN to join the team in John Day, Oregon
. This role will primarily cover Labor & Delivery while also providing support as a float to Med Surg as needed. Perfect for nurses who are confident in their clinical skills and thrive in a flexible, fast-paced environment.
Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience with solid L&D background
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NRP required (others may be requested based on facility)
Licensure: Active OR RN license (or compact, if applicable)
Flexibility: Must be comfortable floating between L&D and Med Surg
ResponsibilitiesProvide safe, compassionate, and skilled care to patients in both L&D and Med Surg units
Monitor fetal and maternal well-being, assist with deliveries, and provide postpartum care
Deliver comprehensive care to Med Surg patients, including assessments, medication administration, and care coordination
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes
Accurately document care in compliance with facility and regulatory standards
