ELS is hiring for the position of Ranger in Cloverdale, Oregon.

The Campground Ranger position may include walking or patrolling the grounds of the campground, answering questions, enforcing rules, and ensuring the safety of our guests and their belongings. The ideal employee can handle any stressful situation calmly and react appropriately according to local, state, and federal law.

• Monitor the property for issues or potential problems.
• Ensure that the property is properly secured.
• Ensure guests comply with resort rules, respond to concerns, and contact law enforcement if necessary.
• Monitor all incoming guests through the campground gate and validate access.
• Perform routine patrols, golf cart and rental inspections.
• Manage camping reservations, check guests in and out, and sell day passes and store items.
• Prioritize guest safety and happiness.
• Perform on-call emergency services as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic reading, writing, and math skills; ability to use computer applications.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
• Ability to assess situations, use quick judgment, and resolve problems diplomatically.
• Exceptional customer service and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Experience in security, law enforcement, or RV environment is a benefit.
• Valid driver’s license, good driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays regularly.
