Associate Water Resource Engineer

• Prepare drainage studies, hydro modification analysis, and detention basin analysis
• Conduct third-party reviews of drainage and water quality reports
• Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using specialized software
• Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and assist with business development
• Prepare and review Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)

• Bachelor’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering
• PE license in California
• Minimum of 3 years preparing Drainage Reports in Southern California
• Strong knowledge of San Diego's hydrologic and hydraulic requirements
• Experience with Rational Method calculation and basin routing calculations

• Floodplain Manager Certification by ASFPM
• Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, and HEC programs
