- Prepare drainage studies, hydro modification analysis, and detention basin analysis
- Conduct third-party reviews of drainage and water quality reports
- Perform hydrologic and hydraulic analysis using specialized software
- Prepare proposals, attend client meetings, and assist with business development
- Prepare and review Storm Water Quality Management Plans (SWQMPs) and Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPP)
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Civil Engineering
- PE license in California
- Minimum of 3 years preparing Drainage Reports in Southern California
- Strong knowledge of San Diego's hydrologic and hydraulic requirements
- Experience with Rational Method calculation and basin routing calculations
- Floodplain Manager Certification by ASFPM
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Bluebeam, ArcGIS, and HEC programs
