Job DescriptionSouth Umpqua School District seeks a collaborative, student‑focused Student Services Coordinator to lead and support programs that ensure every student has access to the services they need to succeed. This position works closely with school administrators, teachers, and families to support special education, student services programs, and to ensure compliance with state and federal requirements.
Qualifications- A valid Oregon Administrative License
- Minimum of five years of successful experience in the field of special education, including classroom experience and K‑12 administrative experience
- Knowledge of laws and regulations related to IDEA, 504, FERPA, and general school board policies
- Knowledge of instruction, curriculum, assessment, and strategies to improve student achievement
- Ability to communicate effectively (verbally and in writing) with students, parents, staff, and other agencies
- Citizenship, residency or work visa required
