Instructional Assistant – ELD (English Language Development)

Table Rock Elementary, White City, Oregon – 7 hours per day, 182 days per year.

The Instructional Assistant works closely with the ELD teacher and classroom teachers to deliver targeted language‑development support in English listening, speaking, reading, and writing.

Duties include:

• Facilitating small‑group lessons and providing individualized support.
• Reinforcing academic vocabulary and language routines.
• Preparing instructional materials.
• Supporting behavior expectations.
• Helping monitor student progress aligned to individual goals.
• Assisting with communication tools for families and school events, following district guidelines.
