Physician​/ObGyn​/Oregon​/Locum Tenens​/Locum Physician - OB​/GYN; Pendleton

We are seeking a qualified OB/GYN Physician for a locum tenens opportunity in the beautiful rural region near Pendleton, OR. This position is perfect for a board-certified or board-eligible OB/GYN who is ready to make an impact by providing essential services in a critical access hospital setting.

Key Details:

• Position: Locum - OB/GYN Physician
• Location: Near Pendleton, OR
• Shift Type: 24-Hour Shifts
• Duration: November 5th, 2024 (7:00 am) to November 10th, 2024 (12:00 pm)

Responsibilities:

• Provide labor and delivery services
• Perform C-sections and handle emergency OB/GYN situations
• Support any pediatric emergencies that may arise in the ER or hospital
• Collaborate with a team of Family Birth Center nurses and anesthesia staff
• Stabilize and transfer patients if necessary (no neonatal services available)

Requirements:

• Board Certified/Eligible: Required
• Oregon Medical License: In-hand license is required
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, DEA, NRP
• Clean Malpractice History: Preferred (within the past 5 years)
• Availability for emergency credentialing if licensed in Oregon

Job Features:

• 24-hour call coverage during the assignment
• Emergency credentialing is available
• Holiday call rates included
• Orientation provided if required (at a half-rate)

Travel & Accommodation:

• Preferred lodging options are available near Pendleton, with flexibility for other hotels of your choice within the area.
• Multiple travel options are available, including flights into Pasco, WA (1-hour drive) or Walla Walla, WA (45-minute drive). Local mileage reimbursed at IRS standard rates.

• Rural critical access 25-bed hospital
• Deliveries:
  Approximately 1-2 newborns per day (varies)
• Support:
  Full nursing and anesthesia team available

Credentials & Application:

• Quick credentialing for Oregon licensed providers (temporary privileges available in 24 hours)
• Required Documents:
  Up-to-date CV, NPI, license details, malpractice history, and references.
