Family Practice Physician (OB Experience Preferred) Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Family Practice Physician and make a meaningful impact on patients of all ages. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide comprehensive outpatient care, including women's health, OB, and surgical procedures, in a supportive and collaborative environment. This is a 6-month to 1-year assignment starting May 18, 2026, with potential for extension. Hourly Pay Rate: $174.14 Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Family Practice Physician to serve a diverse patient population within our community. The role involves managing outpatient care with a patient volume of approximately 16-18 patients daily, utilizing Cerner Community Works EMR system. Candidates will perform a variety of procedures, including OB deliveries, suturing, IUD placements, biopsies, and joint injections. The position includes OB call responsibilities at 1:3, with opportunities for prenatal care, outpatient OB, and deliveries.
Your expertise will contribute to improving health outcomes while working with a multidisciplinary team of providers, including MDs, DOs, and NPs.
Required Skills:
Valid active Oregon medical license and DEA (preferred at submission) Current BLS and ACLS certifications Demonstrated experience in women's health, outpatient OB, and surgical procedures proficiency with Cerner Community Works EMR system Ability to perform OB deliveries, suturing, biopsies, colposcopies, and other procedures listed Strong clinical judgment and patient communication skills Ability to handle a high-volume patient caseload with efficiency and compassion Nice to Have
Skills:
OB experience including prenatal care and deliveries Experience performing cesarean sections (minimum of 30) and OB-related surgeries Familiarity with inpatient OB and NICU procedures Additional certifications in women s health or surgical techniques Preferred
Education and Experience:
MD or DO degree from an accredited institution Minimum 2 years of practice in family medicine, OB, or related specialties Recent experience performing OB deliveries and surgical procedures within the last 24 months Other Requirements:
Availability to work a 4x10-hour shift schedule (07:00 - 17:00) Flexibility to handle OB call responsibilities (1:3 frequency) Willingness to undergo credentialing process (3-6 months) with necessary references and documentation Reimbursements available for travel, mileage, licensure, certifications, and other related expenses Must be comfortable with both outpatient and certain inpatient responsibilities as needed Elevate your medical career by joining a team committed to excellence and patient-centered care.
