This is a busy level I trauma with significant critical care, high acuity, and a dedicated pediatric hospital on campus. The second site the locum might float to is a long-standing full-service hospital in Northwest Portland with strong specialty services and ER coverage.

Northwest Portland - a walkable, charming neighborhood with shops, restaurants, and easy access to downtown. close to downtown, great food scene, and quick airport access.

Our practice is fully handson, with physicians managing their own cases and supported by a strong, efficient AIC (Anesthesia In Charge) program. We run a moderately busy regional anesthesia service with a unique case mix, so strong regional and ultrasound skills - as well as a flexible, adaptable approach - are highly valuable. Because we care for a high acuity patient population, clinical excellence is essential.

The schedule is Monday through Friday with 10hour shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., and there is no call requirement.
