We are seeking a Service Support Specialist to join our service department and play a key role in delivering a smooth, professional, and customer-focused service experience. This position blends front-line customer interaction, service coordination, and operational support to ensure vehicles and customers move efficiently through the service process. The ideal candidate is organized, communicative, and comfortable working in a fast-paced dealership environment while supporting both customers and internal service teams.

- Serve as a primary point of contact for service customers by welcoming them, gathering vehicle and concern details, and assisting with appointment scheduling
- Accurately document customer concerns, vehicle symptoms, and service requests
- Coordinate service appointments, follow-ups, and customer updates
- Support daily service department flow by monitoring vehicle status and communicating progress to customers
- Assist with transportation needs such as arranging loaner vehicles or customer shuttles when necessary
- Maintain service lanes, parking areas, and wash bays as needed
- Maintain vehicle readiness by installing protective coverings and assisting with light cleaning or fueling tasks
- Handle inbound service-related calls and follow-ups to confirm appointments and support service retention efforts
- Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and management to support departmental goals
- Ensure all documentation and processes comply with dealership policies and safety standards
- Provide support on special projects or additional duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience in a service advisor, service porter, BDC, or customer service role preferred
- Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and prioritize in a high-volume environment
- Comfort using computer systems, scheduling tools, and dealership software
- Valid driver’s license with the ability to safely operate vehicles
- Positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset
- Ability to work on your feet for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
