• Operate asphalt paver screeds to achieve proper grade, slope, depth, and smoothness.
• Adjust screed controls to meet project specifications and surface requirements.
• Work closely with the paver operator, foreman, and paving crew to maintain consistent asphalt flow.
• Monitor mat quality and make real‑time adjustments as needed.
• Perform daily inspections and basic preventative maintenance on screed equipment.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and quality standards.
• Follow all DOT, OSHA, environmental, and company safety procedures.
• Work flexible hours, including daytime, nighttime, and weekend shifts as required by project schedules.
• Maintain a respectful, team‑oriented, and safety‑focused work environment.

• Prior experience operating asphalt screeds required.
• Strong understanding of asphalt paving processes, grades, and tolerances.
• Ability to read and follow project plans and specifications.
• CDL Class A license preferred but not required.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions and extended hours when needed.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
• Team player with a positive attitude and commitment to safety.
