Description

Kimberly Casey with Robert Half is seeking a Staff Accountant in the industrial contracting sector. This company operates 10+ locations and employs over 500 team members company wide. While headquarters and the larger corporate accounting group are located out of state, this position will work onsite at the local Oregon location as part of a focused two-person accounting team.

What You'll Do

+ Perform general ledger accounting and month-end close activities

+ Prepare and review journal entries and account reconciliations

+ Support financial reporting and ensure accuracy of transactions

+ Assist with audit preparation and compliance requirements

+ Partner with operations and corporate accounting to maintain alignment

+ Contribute to process improvements and efficiency initiatives

This role offers strong visibility and the opportunity to work closely with both local leadership and the broader corporate finance team.

Requirements

What They're Looking For

+ Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business or economics

+ 1+ years of accounting experience

+ Solid understanding of GAAP

+ Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

+ Ability to work independently in a small team setting
