The OpportunityWe're looking for an Accountant who thrives in fast‑paced, entrepreneurial environments and wants to make a real impact. This isn't your typical corporate accounting role—you'll have the autonomy to identify problems, implement solutions, and build processes from the ground up across multiple entities. You'll work directly with leadership, including our fractional CFO, and play a critical role in professionalizing our financial operations while maintaining the agility that got us here.

What You'll Do Financial Oversight & Quality ControlOversee and review work from our external bookkeeper, ensuring accurate transaction coding and catching errors before they compound across multiple entities.
Serve as the quality control layer between day‑to‑day bookkeeping and executive financial reporting.
Full‑Cycle Accounting OperationsOwn the complete AP cycle: invoice processing, vendor management, and bill pay across all entities.
Own the complete AR cycle: invoicing, collections, and customer inquiries.
Manage intercompany accounting across our holding company structure, ensuring proper eliminations and accurate consolidated reporting.
Month‑End Close & ReportingLead month‑end close processes, including reconciliations, accruals, and journal entries.
Prepare timely, accurate financial statements for each operating entity and consolidated Hold Co reports.
Collaborate with our fractional CFO on management reporting and ad‑hoc financial analysis.
Process Improvement & SystemsIdentify process gaps and implement improvements—you'll have the autonomy to fix what's broken.
Build scalable accounting processes that can support our continued growth.
Enhance our Quick Books Online infrastructure to support multi‑entity operations.
What You BringRequired Qualifications
- 3‑6 years of accounting experience, preferably in dynamic or multi‑entity environments.
- Quick Books Online proficiency (you should be able to train others).
- Demonstrated Experience With Intercompany Transactions And Multi‑entity Accounting.
- Proven ability to work independently and take ownership of processes end‑to‑end.
- Strong attention to detail with an investigative mindset—you don't just record transactions, you understand them.
- Self‑starter mentality with the ability to thrive in an environment where processes are still being built.
- Experience in a growth‑stage company or building/improving accounting processes from scratch.
- CPA or CPA candidate.
- Experience supervising bookkeepers or junior accounting staff.
- Familiarity with process documentation and internal controls.
- Growth mindset with aspirations of becoming a Controller as we scale.

- Base Salary: $95,000 - $115,000 (commensurate with experience).
