ResponsibilitiesThe role involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating inmates with various medical conditions, managing chronic illnesses, prescribing medications, responding to emergencies, and conducting physical exams. Responsibilities include developing treatment plans, monitoring patient health, administering medications, providing education, and adhering to security protocols alongside correctional staff.
Qualifications- Master s or Doctorate in nursing and current Oregon Nurse Practitioner license
- DEA registration and collaborative agreement with on-site physician
- BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross preferred)
- Experience in correctional or acute care settings is a plus
