Job Overview

The Financial Coordinator is part of a team that handles direct interaction with patients and families during difficult times, providing financial insurance and payment information to assist them in planning and managing their account balances related to specific services performed in the clinic. The Financial Coordinator educates patients on the various sponsorship programs available to them and acts as a liaison to the PBO/RBO and sponsoring hospital.

• 3 years of experience in a Business Office, preferably in a financial/billing position.
• Experience with medical and health plan terminology, CPT codes, ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding.

• College coursework.
• Experience with medical specialty.
