Pay and BenefitsHourly Pay Range: $25.84 - $32.65
- Salary offers will be made within the posted pay range and will be based on a candidate’s experience (paid or unpaid) that is directly relevant to the position.
- Bilingual Spanish/English skills are required for this position. An additional 5% of base compensation is added to pay.

Clackamas County’s Health Centers Division is looking for a dedicated and detail‑oriented bilingual Office Specialist 2 (Bilingual Spanish) to join our team at the Beavercreek Clinic. We are a highly engaged and collaborative team that is passionate about serving our diverse patient population. Creating a positive work culture is a priority here!
This position will be working in a fast‑paced front office setting, serving as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and administrative support in a healthcare setting.
Responsibilities include patient check‑in, insurance verification, scheduling appointments, answering front‑office phones, document processing, supporting the call center, sending messages to care teams via the electronic health record, and coordinating with clinical staff. Maintaining professionalism, accuracy, and great customer service are key elements of the position. The candidate should also demonstrate strong communication skills, proficiency in typing, fluency in English and Spanish, and the ability to handle sensitive information in a clinical setting.
TypicalTasks
- Patient Reception, Communication & Scheduling:
Greeting patients, assessing insurance status, engaging with patients about coverage, directing phone calls, and communicating with back‑office staff via the EMR. - Records Management & Data Processing:
Processing complex documents, reviewing and correcting paperwork, compiling reports in the Electronic Health Record, processing transactions and resolving issues. - Administrative Support &PLI:
Processing intake packets for mental health services, typing confidential documents, proofreading, tracking document status, operating office equipment, liaising with vendors, and covering the call center when needed.
