Merchandising Sales Associate

The High Volume FAST Team Member is responsible for working as part of the Field Activity Support Team (FAST), primarily in a single store, to own and execute "start to finish" tasks such as planograms, signage, price changes, and physical inventories. They also support tasks including merchandise and fixture assembly and signage maintenance. The High Volume FAST Team Member interacts with customers and team members to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts Monday through Thursday unless otherwise needed.
• Communicate proactively with the District FAST Supervisor regarding work progress and issues.
• Complete planograms, resets, and store layout initiatives accurately and timely.
• Maintain visual merchandise standards and perform store measurements.
• Perform accurate inventory and cycle counts.
• Complete the Tractor Way top cap process and store price changes.
• Hang store signage such as Circulars, Price Cuts, and Managers’ Specials.
• Assemble merchandise, fixtures, and PDQs.
• Review planogram integrity and perform detailed recovery.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA:
  Greet, Uncover needs, Recommend solutions, and Add value.
• Ensure a memorable shopping experience that stands out from competitors.
• Provide peak coverage as needed and perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Prior retail and/or merchandising experience required. Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is preferred.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; ability to read, write, and count accurately is essential.

Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge in farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding is strongly preferred.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and self-direction to complete tasks with minimal assistance.

Working Conditions

• Primarily indoor environment with moderate noise; outdoor areas are hard surfaces.
• Work shifts typically range from 4 to over 8 hours, with a focus on safety and productivity.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move and transfer up to 50 pounds, operate equipment, and perform physical activities like standing, kneeling, reaching, and climbing.
• Must have the stamina to move quickly and safely throughout the store and outdoor areas.
