Position: Food Operations Manager 2

Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Food Operations Manager 2 to oversee the food service operations at the University of South Carolina Upstate located in Spartanburg, SC
. The University of South Carolina Upstate is a regional comprehensive university offering more than 50 undergraduate and graduate programs. The campus is along the I-85 corridor in Spartanburg between Greenville and Charlotte. USC Upstate is ranked by U.S. News & World Report as South Carolina’s No. 2 public regional college. What You Bring
  • have a work history demonstrating strong employee engagement leadership skills, as well as previous supervisory experience and the ability to work collaboratively
  • have 3-5 years management experience in a multi-unit high volume dining environment
  • can manage multiple priorities, demonstrate professional communication skills, and a passion for a high level of customer service
  • prioritize tasks and exhibit flexibility to take on additional responsibilities as needed
  • demonstrate working knowledge of Food Management Systems and proficiency in computer skills/report management

Qualifications & Requirements
  • Minimum Education Requirement - Associate s Degree or equivalent experience
  • Minimum Management Experience - 2 years
  • Minimum Functional Experience - 2 years work experience in food or culinary services including restaurants, fast food, vending, catering services, institutional services, mall food courts, etc.
