Position Summary
This role serves as a high-level technical resource supporting manufacturing operations through advanced troubleshooting, repair, and optimization of electronic, control, and instrumentation systems. The Electronics Analyst works closely with maintenance, engineering, and production teams to minimize downtime, ensure safe operation, and improve equipment reliability.
The Senior Electronics Analyst role reflects the same responsibilities, with greater depth of experience, broader technical mastery, and the ability to independently lead complex diagnostics and improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair complex electronic and control system issues beyond the scope of standard electrician work
- Program, maintain, troubleshoot, and optimize PLC systems using PC-based and manufacturer-specific software
- Support new equipment installations by identifying and correcting control logic or system integration issues
- Install, calibrate, maintain, and repair industrial instrumentation and control devices, including sensors, transmitters, converters, and actuators
- Troubleshoot and maintain variable-speed AC/DC drives and associated feedback and control systems
- Maintain and calibrate electronic scales, weighing, and ingredient systems, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance
- Install and support precision measurement systems and related control equipment
- Partner with engineering and vendors on equipment upgrades, commissioning, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Provide technical guidance and support to electricians and maintenance personnel as needed
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Electronics Technology or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial electronics, PLCs, instrumentation, drives, and control systems
- Proficiency with diagnostic and test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, recorders, and insulation testers
- Solid computer skills, including technical documentation and reporting
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively in a team environment
Schedule & Work Environment
- Must be available to work all shifts; training will occur on first shift with eventual assignment to second or third shift
- Overtime is expected, with variability based on projects and urgent operational needs
- This is a salaried, non-exempt role eligible for overtime
- Relocation assistance may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on qualifications
