Nuclear Medical Technician - Nuclear Med Technician / Radiology

Job Details:

• Work Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM with rotating call coverage 7 days a week

• Weekend and holiday requirements are call only

• Float between General Nuclear Medicine and Cardiology service lines

• Facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks

• 3 years of experience required

• First time travelers accepted

• Required certifications: BLS, NMTCB(N) or ARRT(N) certified

• ARRT (CT) certification preferred but not required

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• South Carolina SCQRSA state license required in Nuclear Medicine and Radiology or Computed Tomography

• Must have experience with bone scans (whole body and 3 phase), HIDA scans, GI Bleed, Lymphoscintigraphy, Parathyroid imaging, Thyroid uptake, Renal scans with Lasix, Lung scans, MUGA scans, WBC infection imaging, and MPI stress tests

• Radiation badge must be provided by agency

• Dress code:
Teal scrub top with black bottom

• Use Epic charting system

• Work with adult patient population

• Must be aware of potential emergency response team assignments during hurricane season (June through November)

• Complete approximately 4 hours of non-billable modules pre-start
