Outside Sales; Electric Utility​/Phone Cooperative-SC​/GA

McCall Thomas Engineering Company is seeking an Outside Sales professional to focus on business development efforts in SC and Georgia.

At McCall-Thomas Engineering Company (McT), we have been providing quality engineering and technical services since 1945. McT is a multi-faceted engineering firm whose present Engineering & Operations structure yields electrical, civil and communication engineering work for both electrical and communication utilities.

McT also provides technical services and support through the Electric Utility Maintenance Division, Electric Field Operations & UAS group, and the Print Services shop.

The Outside Sales-SC/GA hire will work to develop and maintain relationships with existing clients and to develop new relationships with telephone cooperatives, electric cooperatives, EMC's, and government and commercial entities. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to the following:

• Identify and establish productive, professional relationships with existing clients, potential clients and business partners
• Work closely with support personnel, engineers, and team members to successfully market McT’s services
• Daily CRM utilization
• Conduct face-to-face meetings on a regular basis with clients and/or prospects to promote McT’s services
• Learn and demonstrate the benefits of McT's services and solutions
• Provide constant communication and feedback to management on competition, market trends and changes in technology
• Aid in the development and execution of a business development plan, annual budget and marketing campaigns
• Represent McT at trade shows and conventions
• Act with integrity, demonstrate adaptability and grow in knowledge through feedback and education

• Engineering and/or technical competence and work experience in the electrical and/or communication engineering disciplines within the SC or Georgia or markets
• Previous experience in a business development or outside sales role preferred
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook required
• Net Suite and Smartsheet experience preferred
• Eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship is required
• HS diploma required
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record
• Ability to travel/overnight stays required up to 80% of the time
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
