• Responsible for daily operations including maintaining logs for the fuel yard, boilers, and turbine generator
• Perform housekeeping duties and basic preventative maintenance of power plant equipment
• Operate heavy equipment including bobcat, forklift, front-end loader, and Lull
• Control power plant equipment both in the field and from the control room via DCS
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards in assigned areas

• High School diploma or GED
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience with operations and troubleshooting of industrial equipment
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an entry badge to the Savannah River Site
• Valid Driver's License issued by the state of residence and in good standing
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and transport equipment & tools in excess of 300 lbs

• Previous power plant experience
• Basic computer skills including email and data entry using Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Ability to successfully complete position training and testing requirements
• Availability for ‘on call’ support or varied schedule needs
• Willingness to work rotating shifts on days, nights, weekends, and holidays
