Job Summary
The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its Community Radiology Group for its Regional Health Network in its Pee Dee Division that includes the areas of Florence, Marion, and Black River. This is an on-site position with varying shift coverage between the hours of 7am – 7pm. Evenings are often covered with night radiologist services but may become available from time to time.
Hybrid schedules may be available based on coverage needs.
- Perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services, including mammography, light interventional radiology procedures, and biopsies.
- Provide on-site coverage between 7am and 7pm, with evening/night services available as needed.
- Adhere to light interventional radiology service guidelines and fellowship training requirements.
- MD or equivalent degree.
- A Board-certified and fellowship trained.
- Experience in all aspects of general radiology, breast imaging (including ultrasounds and MR), and light interventional radiology services.
- Must be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license to be considered.
Ability to perform job functions in an upright position; seated position; walking/mobile; work indoors and outdoors; confined/cramped spaces; kneeling and squatting; repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows and shoulders; reach in all directions; good finger dexterity; maintain tactile sensory functions; lift and carry 15 lbs.; maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or both; see and recognize objects close at hand and at a distance;
depth perception; good peripheral vision; hearing acuity; gross motor functions with fine motor movements.
