The Department of Radiology & Radiological Science at the Medical University of South Carolina seeks candidates to join its Community Radiology Group for its Regional Health Network in its Pee Dee Division that includes the areas of Florence, Marion, and Black River.

Work Shift7am – 7pm, evenings often covered with night radiologist services; hybrid schedules may be available based on coverage needs.
Job DescriptionIdeal Radiologists should be able to perform a broad range of diagnostic imaging services, mammography, “light IR” procedures including biopsies; we will consider all interested candidates. Must have the ability to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license to be considered.
MUSCMinimum Requirements
Applicants must have an MD or equivalent degree, be A Board‑certified and fellowship trained. General radiologists must have experience in all aspects of general radiology, breast imaging (including ultrasounds and MRI), and some light interventional radiology services.
Interventional Radiologist Experience RequiredMust be able to obtain a permanent South Carolina medical license to be considered.
Physical RequirementsContinuous – 6–8 hours per shift, Frequent – 2–6 hours per shift, Infrequent – 0–2 hours per shift. Ability to perform job functions in an upright position, seated position, while walking/mobile, indoors, outdoors in all weather and temperature extremes, confined/cramped spaces, kneeling positions, squatting, pinching operations, use both hands/arms, repetitive motions with hands/wrists/elbows/shoulders, reach in all directions, possess good finger dexterity, maintain tactile sensory functions, lift and carry 15 lbs.
unassisted, lift objects up to 15 lbs. from floor level to 36 in. height, lower objects from 36 in. to floor level, push/pull objects up to 15 lbs., maintain 20/40 vision, corrected, in one eye or both eyes, see and recognize objects close at hand, see and recognize objects at a distance, determine distance/relationship between objects, depth perception, good peripheral vision capabilities, maintain hearing acuity, perform gross motor functions with frequent fine motor movements.
