Position PurposePOSITION
PURPOSE:
Recruits new member companies and maximize Field-of-Membership (FOM) participation with the Credit Union. Continually develops relationships with members, member companies and communities. Ensures accurate, prompt service is provided to both internal and external members while building and strengthening relationships. Consistently exceed internal and external member expectations. Ensures that professional business relations exist with member companies and that their needs are met.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES:

- Assumes responsibility for implementation of effective business development strategies by assisting and participating with management to establish long and short-term strategic goals and implementing plans, and policies to support objectives and strategies.
- Assumes responsibility and executes effective business development programs by gathering information on prospective member companies, understanding market trends, and deploys effective strategies to secure new business.
- Assumes responsibility for managing relationships as a service ambassador and maintaining professional relationships with internal and external members, vendors and trade contacts by ensuring the needs and requests are promptly resolved, provides education on product, services, programs, promotions and financial wellness.
- Attends onsite and community functions as necessary and to assist with new account opening and onboarding.
PERFORMANCE MEASUREMENTS:
- Budget, objectives and initiatives are appropriate, effective and support the credit union's business plans.
- Development strategies and goals are met and meet credit union goals.
REQUIRED
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent business or market development experience
- 2-5 years of credit union experience
ADDITIONAL SKILLS AND
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Excellent communication and public relations abilities
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
