Warehouse Laborer Recycling Plant

Overview

Orange, TX Recycling Plant is seeking a Warehouse Laborer to assist operators with running machines used in the recycling process.

Assist Bailers, Pelletizers, Roll Cutters, and Grinders with duties such as material handling (film, chunks, pellets in various forms), material identification, tying up bales, material sorting, box tipping, regulating output onto conveyors and putting plastic into boxes. The position has the goal of upward movement, for example becoming certified on a forklift and advancing to a future machine operator role. Grounds maintenance duties may also be required, such as sweeping the floor, taking out trash, and cutting grass as needed.

Training and supervision will be provided by the client. The client will ensure all OSHA guidelines for work safety are followed.

Pay $14.00 per hour. Temp to Hire position. Work hours Mon-Fri 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with 1 hour lunch break. Must wear closed-toed shoes.

• Candidates must be in good physical condition and able to lift 50 pounds, as well as bend, lift, and stoop.
• Must be physically fit and able to work in a labor-intensive environment all day.
• Must be able to attend work regularly and on time.
