We are seeking an energetic and experienced licensed physical therapist to join our team.
OverviewSummary: Works under the direction of the Physical Therapists. The Physical Therapy Assistant administers all forms of physical therapy as prescribed by the physician and instructed by the Physical Therapist. Assists in administration of office and performs related duties as required.
Details of DutiesDetails of Duties: Administers the following physical therapy procedures:
Education: Associate Degree as Physical Therapy Assistant.
ExperienceExperience: Not required but considered.
ContactsContacts: Frequent contact with patients, department members and occasional contact with family members.
Physical DemandsPhysical Demands: Lifting 35 lbs, pushing, and assisting patients during transfers, gait instruction or exercises, and assists with set-up of equipment.
Working ConditionsWorking Conditions: May be exposed to infectious diseases, electricity, and strains from moving or supporting patients.
