We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Scheduler & Cost Controller to join our team at K&A Engineering in Orange, Connecticut

- Produce regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control initiatives; work with all functional departments to ensure policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to.
- Verify the accuracy of cost information, ensure proper coding and allocation to the project budget; produce accounting and project cost reports, deviation reports, forecasts and cost trend reports; monitor costs and commitments to budget and forecast; maintain change control and change orders; assess progress measurement and develop/update progress curves for progress reporting; responsible for EVM during all project stages.
- Develop an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) according to customer standards and approved scheduling tool; build and maintain project sequences/logic and identify interdependencies across disciplines and third parties.
- Perform Current Schedule and Cost (EV, AC) vs. Performance Measurement Baseline; highlight major deviations and forecast delays; analyze critical paths and alternative scenarios.
- Provide guidance on scheduling best practices to project personnel; coordinate with Scheduler-Cost Controller Group to achieve portfolio planning and control goals; report to Manager Planning and Control.
- Develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain project control databases and reports; reconcile program controls data with financial and performance systems in coordination with Project Managers.
- Validate cost information and reporting; support cost forecasting and trend analysis; monitor progress and change control as required.
- Ensure EVM is applied consistently across all project stages.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Project Controlling and 4 years of experience in Construction Project Scheduling
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- CAPM or PMI-SP Certificate or equivalent (requires Avangrid approval)
- SAP experience required
- Primavera (preferred) and/or MS Project experience required
- Experience in the functional area under which it will be contracted:
Substations, T&D, Gas-Hydro and OSG
$85,000—$110,000 per year
