Chief Security Officer

JOB SUMMARY Responsibilities include the administration and implementation of all phases of security for the company. Coordinate with legal counsel on any security related activity subject to all applicable laws and regulations to maintain company compliance. Recommends and sets security related policies; may develop policies under guidance of Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency legal counsel or executive direction. Maintain successful Security Program in compliance with NISPOM, COMSEC.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Independently Research all current requirements and ensure the Company’s Security Program adheres to DCSA requirements and maintain compliance under NISPOM, COMSEC. Assist in preparation and implementation of Corporate Policies and Procedures as they relate to security. Answer and research Security questions and interpret policies and regulations Enhance Security practices and additional enhancements to achieve higher DCSA ratings.

Obtain security clearances, periodic re-investigations and related processes as needed. Process Visitor Requests and Contact Reports. Promote Security Awareness and provide Security training to all employees as it pertains to their individual job position. Audit and maintain employee security files and related records. Manage services and equipment provided by building security contractors, to include the facility Alarm company and card access provider.

Troubleshoot and resolve building security issues. Maintain perimeter control through administration of card access system. Create and maintain employee and visit badges system. In cooperation with IT maintain classified computing capability EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent experience; and 5-7 years related experience required. Professional certification desired.
