House Supervisor RN- "Per Diem Nights

Overview

House Supervisor RN located at St Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. This position is per diem, 12 hour night shifts.

• Represents Saint Joseph Hospital and Administration to the employees, patients, physicians, visitors and others as required.
• Coordinates patient flow, placement and supervisory activities during the assigned shift; in cooperation with nursing leadership.
• Serves as a nursing resource and support to personnel in collaboration with the department managers and directors.
• Ensures coordination of operations of all hospital departments in alignment with organizational strategic goals.
• Has authority and responsibility to exercise  command decisions  in all emergency and safety related situations.
• Advocates for the protection and rights of individuals, families, communities, populations, health care providers, nursing and other professions especially related to health and safety.

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
• Upon hire:
  California Registered Nurse License
• Upon hire:
  National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
• Upon hire:
  National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
• 1 year Charge Nurse or leadership experience and demonstrated leadership abilities.

Posted are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate s placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
