Orange, California (92868). Assignment Type:
Locum Tenens, Travel Nursing. Assignment Length: 13 weeks.

Start Date:

November 3, 2025. End Date:
February 2, 2026. Shift: 4x10-hour day shifts (06:30 - 17:00). Hours per Week: 40. Estimated Weekly Salary: $2700-$2770. Call Requirement:
Weekdays 5:00pm–6:30am, 24/2 on weekends. Setting:
Pediatric Cardiac Cath Lab.

• Deliver expert nursing care in a pediatric cardiac catheterization lab, including pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
• Assist with complex procedures: congenital heart repairs, device closures, melody valves, pacemaker/ICD implants, neuro interventions, and interventional radiology
• Monitor and manage hemodynamic status and procedural sedation for pediatric patients
• Participate in call rotation for after-hours and weekend coverage
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including radiology, cardiology, and clinical support staff
• Ensure strict adherence to infection prevention and patient safety protocols
• Accurately document all care activities using Cerner EMR
• Care for a pediatric patient population ranging from neonates to adolescents

• Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license (no pending or temporary licenses)
• Minimum 2 years of recent pediatric Cath Lab RN experience required
• Certifications:
  
  ACLS, BLS, and PALS (American Heart Association preferred)
• Proficiency with Cerner EMR charting system
• Previous charge nurse experience preferred
• Ability to provide two recent supervisor references (within the last year)
• COVID-19 vaccination required (medical/religious exemptions considered)
• Travel nurses only: must reside more than 50 miles from facility (locals not accepted)
