Job Overview
Pro Tek Electrical Lighting Inc. is seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and optimize our field operations team. In this key leadership role, you’ll oversee day‑to‑day operations, implement best practices across departments, and drive overall performance. The ideal candidate is a licensed journeyman electrician with extensive experience in both residential and commercial projects, strong familiarity with property management clients (HOAs and commercial), and proven leadership in managing people, processes, and profitability.
You’ll work closely with cross‑functional teams and leadership to enhance service delivery, improve systems, and maintain compliance while supporting team development and customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities- Oversee day‑to‑day field and office operations across multiple residential and commercial projects.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies, systems, and policies.
- Managing budgets, forecasts, and profit & loss (P&L) responsibilities is a plus.
- Recruit, mentor, and supervise field and office staff.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through improved service quality and communication.
- Maintain legal and safety compliance across all projects (including OSHA and NFPA 70E).
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and use data to improve productivity and profitability.
- Coordinate purchasing, inventory, and warehouse management.
- Drive operational improvements through continuous evaluation of processes.
- Work closely with vendors, subcontractors, and property managers.
- 5-7+ years of relevant experience, including:
- Field electrical work in residential and commercial settings
- Operational leadership and staff management
- P&L oversight and budget management
- Experience working with HOA and commercial property managers
- Background in technical or service‑driven companies
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and NFPA 70E compliance
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required
- Strong financial and analytical skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Operations Management preferred (or equivalent experience)

Monday–Friday (4/10 Work Week Option Available)
Occasional Overtime as Needed
LocationOn‑site in the Pro Tek Electrical Lighting Inc. service area.
Travel between residential and commercial project sites as needed.
