Data Support Associate- Data Analyst- Healthcare

Overview

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Data Support Associate/ Data Analyst – Healthcare Industry. This is a 6 month contract in Orange County, CA. On-site, pay rate: $35-$53 per hour.

Work Schedule:

Monday–Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.

• Assist the team in carrying out department responsibilities and collaborate with others to support short and long-term goals/priorities for the department.
• Assist with designing and implementing processes and reports related to provider data to support business decisions, ensuring data integrity, consistency and compliance.
• Collaborate with the Provider Data Audit team to ensure accuracy and compliance for programs including but not limited to provider directories, onboarding and term processes, health network data for network certification, network adequacy and the 274 provider file.
• Develop accurate, organized and easy-to-understand reports, identify gaps and analyze trends utilizing the company’s provider data management system (FACETS) and provider analytics software.
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of CMS data reporting requirements and build reports on a timely basis.
• Identify and recommend process improvement and automation opportunities to support end-to-end provider data flow and accuracy.
• Build and maintain report cards, dashboards and trending analysis.
• Complete other projects and duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 3 years of experience working as a data analyst in the health care industry, or in a managed care environment, required.
• 2 years of experience writing SQL queries using tools such as SQL Server Management Studio required.
• An equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the position may also be qualifying.

• 2 years of experience building Tableau and/or Power BI dashboards.
