Overview
META is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support our growing nationwide team of clinical and operations professionals. This role is ideal for an early-career HR professional who is people-oriented, organized, and comfortable handling employee matters with professionalism and discretion.
You will work closely with Operations and Leadership to support employees, maintain compliance, and ensure consistent HR practices across a multi-state workforce. This role carries meaningful responsibility but is not a senior leadership position.
This role does not manage payroll.
Primary Responsibilities- Employee relations support with an approachable, employee-friendly mindset
- Onboarding, offboarding, and employee documentation
- HR compliance and policy administration across multiple states
- Performance documentation and corrective action support
- HR system management and process improvement
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding for clinical and non-clinical employees
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation in Auris
- Ensure completion of required employment forms, acknowledgements, and policies
- Serve as a trusted point of contact for employee questions and concerns
- Assist managers with performance documentation, corrective actions, and terminations
- Help ensure employee issues are handled consistently, fairly, and legally
- Escalate sensitive issues appropriately while maintaining confidentiality
- Support compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
- Assist in maintaining employee handbooks, policies, and internal HR guidelines
- Track and document HR-related issues to ensure consistency and risk mitigation
- Partner with Operations and Leadership on employee matters
- Prepare documentation for promotions, role changes, and separations
- Support performance review cycles and ongoing feedback processes
- Manage and maintain HR records within Auris
- Identify opportunities to streamline HR workflows and documentation
- Help standardize HR processes as the company continues to grow
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources or People Operations
- Strong interpersonal skills with an employee-friendly approach
- High level of organization and attention to detail
- Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
- Familiarity with multi-state employment environments (California experience strongly preferred)
- Experience supporting employee relations and documentation
