Behavior Technician; BT

As a Behavior Technician, you’ll work one-on-one with children on the autism spectrum, assisting them in developing social skills, building confidence, and enhancing their overall well-being. You’ll also provide invaluable support to their families with personalized care.

Pay: $21 - $26 / hour

* Pay based on experience

Sign-On Bonus: $500 sign-on bonus paid at your 6-month anniversary.

Schedule: Full-Time & Part-Time options available

* Part-time availability requirements:
We ask for at least 4 weekday afternoons (Mon – Fri, 2:30 – 6:30 pm) OR 3 weekday afternoons plus 1 weekend morning/mid-day shift.

• Implement ABA therapy techniques and interventions.
• Conduct engaging one-on-one therapy for skill and social development.
• Set up an exciting environment for the client, complete with therapy materials.
• Attend team meetings to track progress and discuss treatment plans.
• Use data collection tools to measure outcomes.
• Collaborate with Board-Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs) to adjust treatment plans.
• Provide support and guidance to the client's family.
• Document session notes and complete required paperwork.

• Experience working with children.
• Exposure to children/adults with Autism.
• Must reside in Orange County.
• Ability to work in-clinic, in-school, and in-home settings.
• Must be willing to drive 25 miles (average of 30 minutes) from the office.
• Valid driver’s license and proof of auto insurance.
• Ability to be active and sit on the ground for long periods of time.
• Willing to complete a TB test and background screening.
• RBT certification preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish, Vietnamese, or Korean preferred.
• Bachelor's degree or working towards education in Child Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
