Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 2 years of cardiac nuclear medicine experience and active BLS, NMTCB, and CA state license.
Responsibilities- Position is based in an acute care hospital in the Nuclear Medicine department
- Day shift, 5x8 hour schedule from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
- Experience with Epic EMR is preferred
- Must have strong cardiac nuclear medicine skills
- Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state as needed
- Weekends may be scheduled more frequently than every other to accommodate unit needs
- Responsibilities include performing nuclear medicine procedures with a focus on cardiac imaging
- Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
- Minimal to no RTO is preferred; all RTO must be included at time of application
- All travelers must be willing to float per facility policy
- Free parking provided
- Scrubs not specified for technologists; unit-specific dress code may apply
- Facility requires a MAGNET recognized work environment
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a cardiac setting
- Current BLS, NMTCB certification, and California state license required
- Epic EMR experience preferred
- References from at least 2 supervisory sources covering 1 year of employment in a comparable specialty within the past 3 years required
- SSN and DOB must be provided for consideration
