Oncology/Outpatient Infusion – Advanced Practice Provider role with CHOC Specialists, in conjunction with Rady Children’s Health-Orange County. The position supports pediatric oncology care in an outpatient setting and works within a family-centered care environment under the direction of an Attending Physician and established procedures and protocols.

• Evaluate, diagnose and treat oncology patients in an outpatient setting.
• Assist in developing and implementing plans of care for patients in the outpatient infusion center (OPI).
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary oncology team and provide consultation and education to patients and their families.

The successful candidate will be a California-licensed and certified Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner with at least two years of bedside experience in direct pediatric oncology care. The candidate must demonstrate excellent communication skills. At least one year of clinical Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner experience is desired, but not mandatory.

Rate of pay is determined by factors including knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, and position requirements.
