YourRole on the Team Position Summary
The Sterile Processing Department Supervisor will supervise, prioritize, and coordinate team workflow for the shift. The supervisor will ensure appropriate decontamination, cleaning, processing and sterilization of supplies and equipment, act as a resource, and enforce infection control practices. The supervisor will coordinate, plan, assign workloads, manage employee activities, time reporting and scheduling, perform performance evaluations and corrective or disciplinary action as necessary.

Required Qualifications
- Successful completion of an accredited school of Sterile Processing or Surgical Technology or 18 months relevant Sterile Processing experience
- Minimum three years’ work experience as a CST in a leadership capacity
- Knowledge and practice of infectious control techniques and medical terminology
- Current CRCST or CST certification
- Prior supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience working in a fast paced healthcare environment
