Senior Mortgage Processor

We are currently looking for an experienced HECM Senior Mortgage Processor to join our operations team. The ideal candidate is a motivated, detail-oriented professional with a deep understanding of residential mortgage processing, compliance, and documentation requirements.

• Manage a high-volume pipeline of mortgage loan files from initial approval through final closing
• Communicate with loan officers, underwriters, escrow agents, and clients to ensure all documentation is received and accurate
• Review income, asset, credit, and collateral documents to verify compliance with guidelines (FHA and VA)
• Clear processing conditions and prepare files for underwriting submission
• Ensure files meet all investor, regulatory, and company requirements
• Maintain pipeline accuracy in the loan origination system (LOS) and update all status changes promptly
• Monitor deadlines and proactively follow up to avoid delays
• Resolve complex issues with minimal supervision
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior processors or support staff as needed

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum 2–3 years of mortgage processing experience required
• In-depth understanding of mortgage loan products, disclosures, and regulatory guidelines
• Proficient in reviewing and analyzing income, credit, and asset documentation
• Familiarity with LOS platform (e.g., )
• Highly organized and capable of managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented, dependable, and able to meet strict deadlines
• Must be able to work in-office, 5 days a week (this is not a remote position).
