Job DescriptionAECOM is actively seeking a Construction Sr. Manager for immediate employment in Orange, CA.
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
- Provides guidance to employees within the latitude of established policies.
- Establishes procedures that affect immediate organization.
- Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including understanding of current business trends.
- Acts as advisor to subordinates to meet schedules and/or resolve technical problems.
- May have budget responsibilities.
- Erroneous decision or failure to achieve results adds to costs and may impact short-term goals of organization.
- Oversees the administration of projects during the construction cycle including technical, financial, and client satisfaction.
- Accountable for the development, coordination, and execution of the planning, design and/or construction management activities and personnel under individual's direction on a day-to-day
BA/BS + 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership
MVR check required
Preferred Qualifications- 10+ years of previous CM experience on transportation and building projects including Port of Entry Development.
- CA – Professional Engineer
- UBC Standard Experience with CM of Building Construction
- CALTRANS Standard Experience with CM of Roadway, Freeway Interchanges, Bridge, Multi-Level Interchange, Bridge Class Culverts, Signing & Pavement Markings, Illumination, Rail-Highway Design, Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities, Hydraulic Design, Environmental Studies, and Transportation System Planning
- Experience with Business Development/Client Relations
- Experience with SANDAG/CALTRANS proposals and interviews
- Proven experience of success with SANDAG/CALTRANS pursuits
- Experience with managing people at various experience levels and ability to mentor with their career development
- Good communication skills and ability to manage a team
