Role DescriptionThe Senior Account Representative will support growth initiatives across government and commercial markets, with a strong emphasis on market research, opportunity analysis, and strategic support. This position is based in Orange and requires regular in‑person collaboration with engineering, operations, and leadership.
As an early‑stage, high‑growth company, Soaring offers the rare opportunity to join at a foundational level and directly influence revenue growth, customer relationships, and long‑term market positioning.
Responsibilities- Own full‑cycle sales across government, defense, and commercial aerospace markets
- Develop, manage, and close a qualified pipeline of aerospace and UAV opportunities
- Build relationships with government agencies, defense primes, and enterprise customers
- Lead customer meetings, product briefings, and contract negotiations
- Coordinate with engineering to align technical capabilities with customer requirements
- Support proposal, capture, and pricing strategy for competitive bids
- 5+ years of experience in government or commercial proposal management, preferably in the aerospace and defense industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Engineering, Communications, or a related field from a competitive, accredited four‑year university (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)
- Demonstrated success closing complex government or defense contracts
- Direct experience managing RFP, RFQ, and formal procurement processes
- Strong understanding of defense acquisition environments and federal contracting structures
- Proven track record of building executive‑level customer relationships
- Experience supporting technical products or complex hardware systems
- Familiarity with UAV platforms, aerospace systems, or defense procurement environments
