CHOC Specialists is a private pediatric subspecialty group with 26 pediatric subspecialties. The group practices at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) which is a premier healthcare system based in Orange County, Calif. CHOC is exclusively committed to the health and well‑being of children through clinical expertise, advocacy, outreach and research that brings advanced treatment to pediatric patients.

The CHOC Children’s Specialists is seeking a full‑time Pediatric Oncologist (Solid Tumor) to join our well‑established team. Responsibilities include providing quality care to pediatric oncology patients from birth to young adulthood. Our service is primarily outpatient with shared rotating inpatient call. Opportunities in quality improvement, community outreach, resident education and administrative activities are available and encouraged. We are a primary teaching location for the University of California, Irvine.

• Fellowship trained and board certified/board eligible in pediatric oncology.
• Eligible for a California medical license.

Rate of pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to knowledge, skills, competencies, experience, education, as well as position requirements.

CHOC earned the Gold Level CAPE Award from the California Council of Excellence and was awarded Magnet designation. The CHOC Children’s Heart, Neuroscience, Orthopaedic, and Hyundai Cancer Institute are among the centers of excellence.

Orange County, California, offers a warm climate with average temperatures above 70°F for most of the year, as well as abundant recreation, beaches, mountains, and desert within short driving distances.
