GI Hospitalist (Advanced Endoscopy) Position

Unio Specialty Care is recruiting two advanced GI Hospitalists for Providence St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA. This role is for physicians who are passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to a mission of high-quality services.

• 7-On/7-Off schedule working with a Nurse Practitioner
• 12-Hour day shift
• Hospital-based practice with clinical autonomy
• Perform advanced endoscopic procedures

• Provide comprehensive Gastroenterology services, including diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Supervise and collaborate with Advanced Practice Providers to optimize patient care delivery.
• Manage complex inpatient consultations and emergency gastroenterology cases.
• Participate in multidisciplinary care teams and case conferences.
• Maintain exceptional clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction scores.

• Medical degree from an accredited medical school.
• GI fellowship training program with ERCP and EUS; GI advanced endoscopy fellowship completion.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible.

• California Physician License (or eligible for licensure).
• Hospital medical staff credentialing eligibility.

• Proficiency in advanced diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures.
• Experience with inpatient gastroenterology consultation.
• Demonstrated ability to supervise Advanced Practice Providers.
• Strong clinical decision-making and patient communication skills.
